Also a note for users of USB Flash Security, after successfully installing this utility, all data contained inside the USB will be automatically deleted (the program will notify you in advance), because So, before working with USB, you should copy these data to the computer and then save the data back from the computer to the USB.

Lock by password

  • When install this software on USB Flash Drive, password for unlocking security is necessary to access data in USB Flash Drive.

  • When unplug USB Flash Drive from PC, it will lock automatically.

Automated encryption

  • AES encryption which is recognized by speedy and cipher strength in encryption algorithm has been adopted. Data will be encrypted automatically by writing in USB Flash Drive, and it will be decrypted automatically by reading from USB Flash Drive.

The following contents is the structure of encoding and decoding after unlock security:

1. Copy file

When copy the file from PC to USB drive, file will be encoded automatically. When copy the file from USB drive to PC, file will be decoded automatically.

2. Open or save file by PC software

When open the file in USB drive by Word or Excel ect., file will be decoded and read automatically. When save the file in USB drive by PC software, file will be encoded and written automatically.

3. Encode key

The password which set by install "USB Flash Security" to USB drive (Group editon uses administrator password) will be used as encode key. So the encoded data is different by different password. It can provent the data from the analysis of the other one who does not know the password.

AES256bit encryption need 32 characters encode key.

When the password is less then 32 characters, program will add a letter to become 32 characters and use the 32 characters as encode key to encode(256bit) data automatically.

4. Encoded data

Data can not be seen when USB drive protected by "USB Flash Security". After unlock security, data in "Protected area" will be access as decoded data by all of PC software. So, usually user can not see the encoded data.
